Found the the black and white setting on my camera. I kid, of course - I know where it is, I just haven't really ever tried it before now. I'll have to do this more often.

A Picture a Day

This will be my second try to take and post (at least) one picture a day. In order to keep consistent, I'm going to go ahead and guarantee that some of them will be better than others. But hopefully I will keep posting, and maybe learn something along the way.

Project365, Day 1: Cold Feet

This year I've decided to undertake a Project365. In case you don't know what that is, I will be attempting to take and post a picture every day this year. I'm really looking forward to seeing what I capture this year.

Day 1 I present an impression of my own feet that happened when I went out to take pictures, and in the process found this one.

The Wonderful World of Photography

Hello world. I'm relatively new to photography, at least compared to the professional photographers I have the privilege of sitting next to at times. Although I must say that I should have figured I had more than a passing interest in photography when I earned the nickname "paparazi" in high school when I was still shooting with just my little Canon SD600. I now have a Canon XTi and two lenses, a collection which I hope to add to soon.

My goal for this blog is to post pictures from time to time, both so that I can show off and so that I can get feedback and advice. Your comments are coveted.
